About Sunny
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Sunny, affectionately known as Sunny Bunny by his foster mom for his adorable habit of hopping around the yard after his foster brothers. Watching Sunny's playful antics is sure to bring a smile to your face just as it does for his foster family. Rescued from a difficult past with his brother and sister (who have already found their homes), Sunny is just as deserving of a loving family. Sunny will turn one year old in October, and currently weighs about 55 pounds. He does well in his crate, is potty trained, and will let you know when it's time to go outside. Ride in the car? No problem! Leash walks? He does great! Sunny is friendly with other dogs, especially those who can match his energetic spirit. He adores water, making him an ideal swimming or boating buddy, and he is happiest spending time outdoors. Despite his active nature, he loves nothing more than ending his day snuggled up on top of his foster mom, which she can't resist. Sunny is still working on being vocal for attention and can be a bit jumpy, but his foster is working closely with him and he's already made much progress. A home with older kids, an experienced owner (first-timers considered), no apartments, a fenced yard or regular energy outlets, and continued training would suit him best. He would thrive having a dog companion who respects his boundaries and matches his playfulness. If you think you can offer Sunny his dream home, don't wait to apply. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
