About Sunny
Sunny, known as "Sunny Bunny" to his foster mom, bounces around the yard chasing his foster siblings and living up to his playful name. He’s come a long way after a tough start with his siblings—who’ve both found homes—but he's still waiting for his chance. Sunny is nearing his first birthday and weighs about 55 lbs. He excels at crate time (most of the time), is house trained, rides well in the car, and does well on a leash. He’s social with other dogs as long as they match his high energy. Water is one of his favorite things—he’s a natural swimmer and would love an outdoorsy family that enjoys walks, water, or boating. Sunny can be pretty affectionate—he prefers to snuggle on top of people rather than beside them, which never fails to earn a laugh. He’s currently working on being less vocal for attention and curbing his jumping, and he’s improved with ongoing training. He’d thrive in a home with a fenced yard, older children, someone with dog experience, no apartments, and a compatible dog friend. A work-from-home family would suit him well.
