About Emma
Emma is a senior Jack Russell/Miniature Pinscher mix whose life changed when her previous family, facing homelessness, had to make the difficult choice to let her go. Since then, Emma has flourished in her foster home and found a new routine. At 10 years old, she’s far from slowing down—her energy shines through long walks and games. Emma is house trained and walks politely on a leash. She’s a quick learner who loves to show off her tricks for treats, including sit, spin, paw, and play dead. Emma’s friendly but selective with her inner circle; she forms strong bonds with her chosen humans, and prefers to keep interactions limited when she’s not in the mood. If she’s sleeping in her bed, it’s best to let her be—Emma values her beauty rest and isn’t shy about letting you know. Her loyal companionship and spirited personality will add warmth and fun to the right home. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.

Questions about Emma
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Emma’s Jack Russell/Miniature Pinscher background means she’s comfortable in homes where she can get plenty of attention, structure, and daily activity. Apartments work as long as she receives daily walks, but she’ll also thrive in a house with secure outdoor access.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A small, secure yard is great for Emma, but she does well with regular leash walks and play sessions too. Her size and adaptability mean a big yard isn’t required as long as she’s exercised.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Jack Russell and Miniature Pinschers like Emma can do well with respectful older children, especially if familiar with boundaries. Supervision is important due to her preference for a calm environment.
