About Rebel
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Rebel! Born August 2, 2013, this charming little dog has a heart full of love and a personality that will brighten your days. Rebel’s mom was a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix, while his dad is a mystery, though there may be a hint of spaniel in his lineage. Originally adopted as a puppy in 2013, Rebel found his way back to rescue in October 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances and is now seeking a forever family to call his own again. Rebel was raised to be respectful in the home—he's used to sleeping in his own bed and not allowed on furniture, though that’s up to your preference. He’s fully house trained, knows basic commands, and absolutely adores being with people, always wanting to be part of the action whether it’s lounging during TV time or keeping you company outdoors. He rides beautifully in the car, either catching some sleep or just hanging out, and he enjoys being beside his humans through it all. Having grown up with two bigger, medium-sized dogs, Rebel gets along well with canine companions, and although he’s now a senior with a dignified bit of grey around his face, he still has playful energy, the occasional zoomies, and plenty of spunk. He’s known as a "velcro dog" for good reason—he thrives on human companionship and would love to share his life and affection with you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
