Pirate
AvailablePirate is a male, medium-sized domestic short hair with a short black coat, currently living in New Cumberland, WV. He’s an adult, nearly three, and is neutered and fully vaccinated. Pirate has special needs due to eye issues; his left eye was removed, but he’s healed and doing well.
About Pirate
Pirate showed up in July 2023 with some trouble in his eyes, but that never broke his spirit. Thanks to the care he received, he’s healed up well after losing his left eye. Now he sees the world just fine with his remaining eye and doesn’t let it hold him back at all. Pirate has a soft spot for quiet places; he’s friendly, but needs some time to warm up. There’s a gentle shyness in him, and he's the kind of cat who’ll flourish best in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. If you’re looking for a companion who’s resilient but appreciates a slower tempo, Pirate just might be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
