About Blue
Blue is a striking blue-gray American Staffordshire Terrier, nearly five years old and on the larger side. He came into rescue as a puppy with his family, got adopted, but ended up back at Hands to Paws after his owners had a baby. He thrives on affection, loves to ride shotgun in the car, and perks up for walks and couch time. Blue is dog-friendly, loves toys and treats, and has a special fondness for simply being near his people. His last home kept him outdoors full-time, which didn’t suit him; he got bored, so he sometimes dug up the yard or beds. Blue can jump fences up to four feet and climb chain link, so he needs a yard with secure fencing. When excited, he still jumps up to greet people—he’s working on that. He is fully vetted, microchipped, neutered, and ready for a fresh start with someone who’ll keep him close. As a Virgo, Blue has a pragmatic streak and likes to keep busy. Ready to fall in love?
