About Smoky Linx
Smoky Linx, a brown and white Husky mix born November 20th (which makes him a friendly Sagittarius, always up for new adventures), started life on a tough note, coming to the rescue after being found by the police. He may seem distant at first from inside his pen, but given a slow, gentle introduction, he’ll drop his guard and show you his affectionate, snuggly side. Smoky Linx is fully house and crate trained, respectful on a leash, and shows remarkable intuition—he has a knack for reading people’s moods. While he’ll tolerate cats to a point, he’s not suited to a home with kids or lots of visitors, and he strongly prefers being the only dog. Smoky is drawn to the outdoors and feels truly at ease where there’s space to roam—on walks, at parks, or just sniffing around a yard. On outdoor adventures, his enthusiasm shines: wagging tails, playful hops, even swimming, all while ignoring strangers and enjoying being himself. Inside the house, he tends to feel a bit out of place. Smoky needs a home with a yard (at least a four-foot fence and ideally a doggie door), with an adopter who will respect his boundaries, skip the big crowds, and let him be outside as much as he wants. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his perfect match in Washburn, MO. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
