About Royal
Royal is ready to keep you warm and keep your heart full this winter. This three-year-old Shepherd/Collie mix has a soft spot for snuggling and is a true professional lap sitter and bed warmer. In his foster home, Royal stands out as an affectionate, people-loving boy whoâs always eager to be close by. He thrives around other dogs, enjoying playtime in the yard and keeping up with active canine friends of all sizesâbut due to his high prey drive, cats and small animals are not a fit for him. Royalâs ideal home includes another dog and a fenced yard with at least 6-foot fencingâlower boundaries are a bit too tempting for this athletic jumper. He gets along great with older children and is fully housebroken, leash trained, and kennel trained. Royal behaves well with free roam of the house, uses his kennel calmly when needed, but at night he definitely prefers to stake out his spot on your bed. He loves walks, car rides, and would enjoy a running buddy. Royalâs the real deal if youâre after a loving, loyal, and active companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
