This medium-sized cattle dog mix is all about family time—he wants to be near his people and is not the type to be happy left outside on his own. His favorite things? Toys, playtime, and roughhousing with other playful dogs, so a home with a dog friend who enjoys active play would be ideal. Phil is still working on his manners and can be a bit mouthy, which means he's not the best match for small kids right now. He does best with older children or adults who understand energetic pups. Phil is progressing in crate training, listens well, and responds quickly to basic instruction. A home willing to continue his training—particularly around leash manners and polite play—will see him shine. He’s not compatible with cats.
