About Ralph
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Ralph, a lively 2-year-old Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Ralph is clever and bursting with energy, always ready for a new adventure. He thrives in an active home where he’s able to put his intelligence and zest for life to good use. Born on January 14th, Ralph is a Capricorn—a star sign known for determination and loyalty! This bright boy already knows several commands including sit, stay, lay down, spin, come, and kennel up. He’s potty trained, sleeps peacefully in his kennel at night, and has a soft spot for toys, chew sticks, and a good game of chase with butterflies in the backyard. Ralph’s eagerness to please makes him a quick study for any new tricks you’d like to teach. While initially skittish or anxious around new people and dogs, Ralph quickly warms up with positive experiences and becomes a loving, fun companion. He enjoys playtime with other pups and will do best with dog-savvy humans who can provide the structure and activity he needs to thrive. Ralph does well on walks, though he may pull a little when excited, and he’s eager to improve with ongoing, consistent training and patience. Ralph isn’t currently in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Home, but the rescue is assisting his current owner with his rehoming. If you’re looking for a smart, playful, and affectionate dog who’s ready for a lifetime of adventures, Ralph is your perfect match! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
