About Boomer
Boomer brings a burst of happiness wherever he goes, zipping around on his stubby little legs and lighting up the room with his joyful energy. He’s a classic chihuahua mix: loyal, clingy to his person, but not at all fond of being fussed over or picked up too much. Treats are the quickest way to his heart—he’ll do almost anything for something tasty and has picked up tricks like fetch and sit, with more commands in progress. Boomer is crate trained and does fine hanging out in his safe space. When outside, his zoomies are legendary and he’ll happily taunt the bigger dogs with his antics or retreat into his fort with his favorite toys. He’s most content cuddled up next to his person at bedtime, sometimes even napping as the little spoon. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Boomer gets along well with other dogs and children, enjoys a good wading pool in the summer, and generally manages on a leash, though getting harnessed up can take a minute. He will use pads if he can’t get outside yet, and with a doggy door, should be fully house trained soon. Boomer lives in West Richland, WA, and is waiting to brighten someone’s world for good.
