About Boomer
Click apply to start the adoption process. Boomer is a little ray of sunshine who will bring plenty of cheer to your life with his lively personality. He zips around energetically on his stubby legs, spins, jumps, and is highly motivated by treats, always ready to please for a bite of something tasty. Embracing his chihuahua side, Boomer loves to be near his person but prefers not to be picked up or handled too much. Watching him get the zoomies—especially when he's playfully teasing bigger dogs—is sure to make you smile. He’s fond of toys and enjoys hiding out in his own little fort with his favorite stuffed animals. Boomer is neutered, microchipped, has no parasites, and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He does well walking on leash although he sometimes finds it tricky to get hooked-up or have his harness put on. Boomer is crate trained and comfortable resting in his crate. He even enjoys cooling off in a wading pool during summer. Treat-motivated and smart, Boomer will happily fetch toys, sit, and is learning new tricks like shake and lay down. At night, he’s the perfect cuddle buddy, sleeping beside his person and often curling up as the little spoon. He loves being outdoors and is nearly potty trained—currently using pads if he can’t get outside in time, but ready to master a doggy door soon. Boomer is located in West Richland, Washington, and is well worth the drive to meet. His foster family is always happy to have him visit, and you can even foster him to see if he’s your match. Boomer is sure to brighten your days with his joyful outlook and loving heart. His birthday makes him a Sagittarius—the adventurous and optimistic star sign! Ready to fall in love?
