Chestnut is a brown-and-white cattledog with magical golden eyes that say, "I might love you...but from over here for now." He's a shy little bean who warms up slowly, looking for a patient home willing to give him time to settle in. Once he trusts you, he's incredibly loving and loyal. He loves other dogs and would truly shine with a confident dog sibling to show him the ropes. --------------------------------------------------- Happy Little Rescue, located in Grand Junction, Colorado, is a unique animal shelter. Our dogs spend their days frolicking in an open play area with the other dogs, and therefore have a good level of dog-dog socialization. We prefer to adopt our animals locally, but are open to discussing out-of-state adoptions for our longer-term residents, or harder-to-place pets.
