About Hootie

Hootie got her name from her striking orange eyes—they have the sharp, curious look of an owl. She and her brothers, Orangey and Wali, spent their early days as neighborhood strays, sticking close to their mom and learning how to survive outdoors. But Hootie deserves more than just getting by, so she's now with us, getting a shot at comfort and care. She’s set to be spayed and fully vetted, and already is well on her way to being a fantastic companion. Hootie is still a bit timid around people, but she is making big strides as she gets used to indoor life. If you’re patient, gentle, and happy to give her some time to come out of her shell, she’ll reward you. Hootie gets along with other cats and children, making her an easy fit for a home ready to help her settle in. Fun fact: as a March 25th Aries, Hootie is sure to be independent and bold once comfortable. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
