About Draco
Draco is a four-year-old Boxer/Hound mix with a medium coat that’s just right for snuggling in after a long romp. He’s house trained and craves plenty of time out in a fenced yard, where he can unleash his playful energy and show off his goofy side. Draco’s a big, enthusiastic companion who bonds tightly with his humans—he’ll want to be your one and only dog. While he sometimes gets along with other easygoing dogs, he’s happiest as the sole canine in his home (center of your world, every day). He does fine with cats, as they don’t bother him. Draco plays hard and can get rowdy, so he needs a home without young kids—no children under 13. He thrives when life is low-key and predictable, preferring to have a separate space to relax if company visits. He’s not a fit for crowded dog parks or noisy bar patios. But if you’re looking for a loyal hiking buddy and Netflix companion who’ll love you with his whole heart, Draco fits the bill. He’s completed a 10-session training program, and you’ll have life-long access to refresher guidance if needed. His adoption fee is waived for the right home willing to give him the understanding and stable environment that lets him relax and shine. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Draco
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Draco, as a Boxer/Hound mix, generally does best in a home with space to move and play, such as a house with a secure, fenced yard. He enjoys outdoor activity but also values a steady home base where he can feel comfortable.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Boxer/Hound mix like Draco thrives with a large, securely fenced yard where he can run and play to burn off energy. Apartment living is usually not a great fit without ample daily exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Draco prefers a home with older children or adults, as his playful but rowdy nature can be too much for younger kids. Homes with kids over 13 years old are best.
