About Draco

This could be the start of something paw-some. Draco is a big, boisterous, and playful four-year-old boxer/hound mix with a striking white and red coat. He is house trained and at his happiest when running freely in a securely fenced yard, where he can burn off his energy playing to his heart’s content. Draco is best suited as the only dog in the household—although he can get along with some dogs, he truly thrives being the center of attention. He’s also fine with cats, enjoying their company as they pose no challenge to him. Due to his size and spirited playfulness, Draco is not eligible for adoption in homes with children under 13. He needs a household that respects his preference for calm environments—large gatherings or social settings like parks or bars are not where he'll feel at ease. Draco isn’t a social butterfly, and would appreciate having a quiet space all his own during company visits. For those who seek a loyal companion to join them for hikes, yard games, and movie nights on the couch, Draco is ready to devote his unconditional love. He has successfully completed a 10-session training program, and adoption comes with lifelong training support. Draco’s adoption fee is waived for adopters prepared to provide him with the right environment and routines to bring out his best. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
