About Summer
Summer arrived at the rescue with her siblings and mom, all of them in need of a safe place to land. She stands out for her soulful eyes and beautiful gray and white coat, but what really defines her is her gentle, shy nature. Summer warms up slowly and will need someone patient, willing to let her settle at her own pace. She adores the company of other cats and can usually be found curled up next to a feline friend, so a home with another cat, or adopting her with a buddy, would suit her best. Summer has a sweet streak under her initial caution and thrives with calm, understanding humans. She’s still young and has plenty of time to come out of her shell. Summer is one of those cats who may take a while to show her full heart, but when she does, it’s worth the wait. Fun fact: With a late April birthday, Summer is a Taurus—expect someone loyal and a little stubborn in the best way. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
