About Tess
Tess wandered onto a vacation property, thin and needing help, before a volunteer brought her into care. She battled and beat an upper respiratory infection only to test positive for feline leukemia (FeLV+), which can make adoption tougher, but it hasn’t slowed her down. Tess is active, affectionate, and seriously playful—her spunky personality belies her 2018 birth year. She mingles easily with other cats and even dogs, and that eager energy means she’s best matched with older children rather than toddlers. Tess would do well in a home familiar with FeLV or willing to learn, as FeLV+ cats can thrive with regular vet care and good nutrition. She’s healthy now, fully spayed, up to date on shots, and house trained. She’s just looking for a family willing to give her a chance despite the diagnosis. Give her story a proper ending.
