About Jagger

Jagger is a Saluki/Canaan Dog mix who's been with the rescue since he was just a pup. He starts off a little reserved, still learning what it's like to trust and let loose, but once he opens up, he's all energy and play—especially with women, who bring out his happy, silly streak. Active and bouncy, Jagger thrives on movement and engagement, always trying to coax a smile from his people. He’s looking for a calm, patient family who will help him keep building his confidence at his own pace. Life in an apartment isn’t for Jagger. He needs a quiet home with a securely fenced yard where he can burn off energy and enjoy the outside safely. He gets along with dogs his size but isn't cat friendly, so homes with cats are not a fit. His past run-ins with ear infections are managed well now with a special diet and routine care, so he's ready for a fresh start. Jagger has come a long way—literally, all the way from Bahrain—and is ready to finally find someone to call his own. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
