About Rizzo
Rizzo is a young, 3-year-old "pocket pittie" on the petite side, with a beautiful brindle coat and a gentle, affectionate nature. She loves spending time with people—she's happiest when she's warm, safe, and soaking up attention from her family. Rizzo has been waiting for quite a while for her forever home and truly shines when she knows she's cared for. She’s highly active and will appreciate a secure, fenced yard or an adopter who loves outdoor adventures. A home with kids over 8 is best, and she's open to meeting dogs her size or smaller, but truly thrives as the only pet so she can soak up every ounce of affection. She’s housebroken, crate trained, spayed, heartworm negative, and her vaccinations are up to date. Rizzo is eager for a life out of the shelter—one where she gets all the love she’s waited for. Fun fact: with a July 2nd birthday, Rizzo’s a Cancer—no wonder she’s so devoted and people-oriented. They’re waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
