About Lynyrd
Lynyrd still believes in love, even after heartbreak. He’s a nearly three-year-old boxer/English bulldog mix with a soft tan coat, large frame, and a gentle soul. Life hasn’t always been kind—he’s seen the inside of cold crates and learned to flinch at sudden movements—but he hasn’t given up on people or himself. Lynyrd wants a home that will see his worth and offer the steady kindness and patience he’s only glimpsed before. Beneath his caution, Lynyrd is still the dog who loves car rides with cracked windows, carrying plush toys, and dozing at your feet. He’s forgiving and tries his best, occasionally cowering but always striving to trust again. If you can offer a safe, understanding home and aren’t in a hurry for perfection, Lynyrd will commit his whole heart to you. He gets along well with dogs and children, and he’s fully house trained. In Lancaster, OH, this Cancer boy is waiting to bring warmth and hope back into your home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
