About Honey Bean
Honey Bean came to Good Mews in 2021 from a closing rescue and has been winning hearts ever since. She’s got a spunky personality, a quirky permanent head tilt from an old ear infection, and some corneal scarring on her right eye that means she needs eye ointment twice a day. Her classic move is jumping up on your shoulders, parrot-style, and she absolutely loves being around people. While Honey Bean gets along with other cats, she doesn’t enjoy sharing attention and would rather be your one and only feline friend—she’s happiest as a solo cat. After a previous adoption, she was returned due to litterbox issues, likely because she prefers all the attention for herself. Her medical history is notable: Honey Bean has stomatitis, so all her teeth have been removed, but she handles hard food and will need soft food twice daily. She takes Prednisolone for inflammation, Benazepril for protein in her urine, and deals with chronic nasal issues that may require periodic nasal flushes. Despite these needs, Honey Bean remains incredibly sweet, social, and full of charm. She’s hoping to find someone ready to love her and manage her medical care—a bit of extra effort in exchange for a truly special companion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
