About Tarzan
Tarzan is a friendly, almost 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Hound mix who’s been searching for a permanent home. He was picked up with another dog by a kind stranger and brought into rescue. Playfulness is in his nature—he’s always up for a lively game of tug of war or tennis ball chase. Obedience comes easily to him, and he’s crate trained. When it comes to other dogs, Tarzan tends to be laid-back and non-reactive. He’s devoted to people and tends to tag along wherever you go, eager for affection. He could use a bit of work on his leash manners and has typical environmental allergies managed by medication. Tarzan is being fostered in Shelton, WA, but can be transported within Oregon and Washington. He usually gets along well with kids. Give this easygoing, people-focused dog a chance.
