About Bozo

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Bozo is an incredibly sweet and gentle hound mix with a tricolor brown, black, and white coat who would make a wonderful companion for the right home. As a neutered male, approximately 3 years old and weighing about 65 pounds, Bozo thrives in a calm and quiet environment. He is housebroken while free in the house, but prospective adopters are encouraged to give him a strict two-week shutdown period to ensure he maintains his excellent indoor habits. Crate-trained, Bozo may occasionally have an overnight accident, but with structure, he continues to improve. He is a homebody at heart—while he’s excellent in the car and enjoys lounging, noisy environments and chaos make him uneasy. Bozo is fantastic with other dogs, respectful of their space, and especially enjoys roughhousing with dogs of similar size. He's living harmoniously with three cats and is exceptionally gentle with them, even offering feline friends an affectionate kiss from time to time. Fast movements and loud noises may startle Bozo, so he’s best suited for a patient family with older or gentle children who understand his need for time and space as he adjusts. Given a warm, understanding home, Bozo will reward his people with devoted companionship, love, and a quiet presence, whether he's curled up beside you as a reading buddy or basking in the sun while you garden. Festivals and crowds aren’t for him, but cozy afternoons at home will make his tail wag. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
