About Jewel
Jewel showed up as a stray in Navarre, FL and spent two months with a kind family who tried but couldn’t find her original home—she wasn’t chipped and wore no tags. Now with the rescue, Jewel splits her time between being deeply affectionate and wanting her own quiet space, always happy to nap on the couch. She perks up and gets playful outside, enjoying room to run, but she tends to be particular about her dog friends; slow introductions might help, but she’s much more comfortable as the only dog. Jewel is spayed, up to date on shots, housebroken, and knows her basic commands. She seems to get along well with kids and would make a rewarding companion for someone ready for a loyal, independent friend. As a Capricorn, born January 1, she brings just the right mix of warmth and self-sufficiency. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
