About Champ
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet handsome and gentle Champ. This sweet boy spent his first two years confined in a small kennel, never getting the chance to feel grass under his paws. His early life was tough—fed only chicken bones and cat food, he had limited experiences and missed out on so much. Since arriving at Grateful Rescue, Champ has blossomed with proper care and affection. Now fully vetted, neutered, and on flea and heartworm prevention, Champ is ready for a fresh start in a loving home. Champ enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive with a canine playmate of similar size to share his newfound love of running and playing. A securely fenced yard is essential to keep him safe as he continues to discover the joys of outdoor life. While he’s a bit shy when meeting new people, Champ’s gentle spirit just needs time and patience so he can build trust. Whoever adopts this sweetheart will be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion. Champ was born on August 9, making him a joyful and expressive Leo—perfect for someone seeking a gentle, playful soul to brighten their home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
