About Dax
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Dax! Are you searching for a loyal companion who’s always eager to lend a paw? If you run a hair salon, Dax would be thrilled to help by trying out every brush, as he adores being groomed. He’d also be the ideal car wash sidekick since splashing in water is one of his favorite things, or perhaps you have a restaurant in need of a taste tester—Dax would be more than happy to oblige! This charming German Shepherd is an expert at eating, enjoying water play, and posing as a handsome mascot. While he is a bit underweight right now, his foster mom is making sure he gets plenty of treats and attention to help him fully thrive. Dax may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, his playful and loving personality truly shines through. He is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs that are similar in size, though he’s a bit unsure around smaller pups. While he hasn’t been tested with cats or children yet, he may be able to adjust to cats with some patience. Dax is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped, with a neuter scheduled soon. This wonderful dog is being fostered in New Caney, Texas, and is ready for someone to love.
