About Jax
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Jax is a lively and loyal German Shepherd/Husky mix currently seeking a more active home. This 95-pound, nearly 4-year-old neutered male is healthy, vaccinated, and microchipped. Deeply attached to his primary caregiver and especially affectionate with her teenage daughter, Jax thrives with attention, often curling up at their feet while watching TV. He is a playful soul who enjoys games of keep-away and fetch, and his clever mind is eager to learn new commands—he already knows quite a few! Initially, Jax is protective when meeting new people, both at home and in public, but his sweet nature comes through once he gets comfortable. With other dogs, he does well and has enjoyed time at doggy daycare, though he hasn't had experience with small dogs or young children. While he encounters cats calmly on walks, a cat-free home is recommended. Jax is completely housetrained and can be left alone indoors uncrated. Jax would thrive in a home that can offer him both companionship and the exercise he craves. His current family, who love him dearly, can no longer meet his energetic needs due to a chronic pain condition. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, and active canine friend, Jax could be the perfect fit. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
