About Twilight

Twilight is a spayed female, about two years old and weighing close to 55 pounds. She’s heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, chipped, and well-practiced at both crate and house training. Twilight shares space comfortably with other dogs and people, but hasn't been tested with cats or kids yet. She’s a curious mix visually—if you squint, she almost looks like a German Shepherd, but there's a little French Bulldog charm in her stance. Her short blond coat and dark mask give her a memorable look. Food is a big motivator for Twilight, and she eats fast. She isn’t food aggressive, but she’s been learning to dine in her crate so she doesn’t swoop in on her foster siblings’ meals. Her foster nicknamed her "Piglet" thanks to her enthusiastic mealtime style. Not surprising, her best buddy in the house is another dog named Hammy. Despite her stocky, strong appearance, Twilight is all fun and athleticism. She’ll chew, run, and play with gusto—and loves the company of other dogs, especially in a yard where she can unleash her energy. Apartment living won’t suit her unless you’re committed to lots of walking or jogging. Twilight is treat-driven and quick to learn, although a little headstrong at times. With a playful personality and a dash of irony in her name—yes, Twilight enjoys "stakes"—she’s sure to charm anyone who meets her. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
