About Helena Jum

Helena Jum has survived a lot in her short life. At just two and a half weeks old, she and her siblings were dumped at a post office, dangerously sick, but a dedicated rescuer pulled all of them through some tough weeks. Later, Helena and her littermates fought off parvo, another close call, and made it with careful nursing. Now all her siblings have found homes, and Helena is ready for her own. She's a Catahoula/Whippet mix with a lean build and a medium coat in a blend of white, cream, and gray-blue. Though shy at first, she settles in with patience and routine, especially when paired with a calm, confident dog she can mimic and rely on. She’s house trained and has plenty of energy for fetch and chase, making her a great fit for an active household. Helena does best with another dog in the home and needs a family willing to meet her in Austin, TX before adoption. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
