About Mandy
Mandy has been waiting patiently since 2011 for a place to call home. When she first arrived at the refuge, she was frightened and kept to herself, but over the years she’s come out of her shell and started to trust people again. She’s still a bit timid at first, but a few treats—just not Temptations, which upset her stomach—help her warm up. Mandy enjoys the company of other cats and loves playing with a feather wand. In 2020, she underwent surgery to remove a large tumor, leading to the amputation of one hind leg. Despite this, Mandy has adjusted to life on three legs with quiet determination. She’s gentle, calm, and would appreciate a peaceful household with someone patient and caring. Mandy is a Taurus—she takes comfort in routine and affection. She’s ready for a fresh start after so many years. Your new best friend is just one click away.
