Mandy arrived at the refuge in September 2011, and initially, she was very scared and shy. Many years have since passed, and with time Mandy has grown more at ease around people, having gradually learned to trust again. In 2020, she underwent surgery to remove a large tumor, and sadly this resulted in a necessary medial amputation of one of her hind legs. But Mandy persevered yet again, adapting to her new reality and taking it all in stride. This gentle, calm girl would greatly benefit from a patient human friend committed to providing a quiet, supportive home she's waited so many years to find. We know that with the right amount of love and understanding, Mandy will make a gentle, easy-going companion for a very lucky family. Approx. DOB: 05/01/2011
