About Sundae
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Sundae is as sweet as her name suggests, with a calm, affectionate nature that is sure to melt your heart. Adored by the volunteers at FuRRR Feline Rescue, Rehabilitation and Retirement, she shines as a favorite among all who meet her. Sundae is a lovely senior girl seeking a peaceful forever home where her new companion is around often to share plenty of love and attention. Surrendered through no fault of her own after her previous family had to move, she’s eager for a second chance at happiness. A gentle soul who’s truly the queen of her space, Sundae has become confident and enjoys being the center of attention. She much prefers to be the only pet in the home—she isn’t comfortable with other cats or dogs, but would do well with older, respectful children who understand her need for a quiet, serene environment. Sundae loves to spread out on anything you’re working on, demanding your undivided attention in her charming way. One of her favorite spots is a special box near everyone, and she’ll call out to request some affection if you walk by without stopping. Her sweet, chatty nature means she’ll even have friendly conversations with you. Sundae will thrive in a mellow home with someone present for most of the day, ready to offer her warm laps and a cozy cat tree by the window—birdwatching is a top pastime. Recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Sundae is on daily medication and special dry food, but she enjoys her regular wet food and is easy to medicate with treats or pills. She is patiently waiting for someone who appreciates a sweet, loving companion and is ready to give her a wonderful new beginning. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
