About Garfield

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Garfield was found injured and alone, but thanks to dedicated care and lots of love, he has flourished into a friendly, affectionate companion. Despite a fractured jaw, broken teeth, and an old hip injury, Garfield’s spirit never dimmed. After vital surgeries, his delightful personality blossomed—he now loves being with people and is happiest when he’s part of the action. This beautiful senior gentleman is polite at home, adores his scratch pads (no scratched furniture!), and will purr contentedly by your side or curl up to sleep with you. Treats are a favorite, and he’s known to help himself if given a chance! With his calm, loving demeanor, Garfield deserves a devoted second chance after facing such hardship. As he is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), he needs to be adopted either with other FeLV+ cats or as the only cat in the household. Furkids provides post-adoption care for FeLV-related illnesses at their HQ, ensuring his quality of life remains the top priority—though vaccines, injuries, and extraordinary measures are not covered. Fun fact: With a January 11th birthday, Garfield is a Capricorn—known for their resilience and loyal hearts! Ready to offer Garfield the caring home he truly deserves? They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
