About Sylvia
Sylvia is a striking black-and-white tuxedo cat with showpiece amber eyes and a pleasantly round figure that makes her a real standout. Her story started with caution and distance from humans, but she's put that feral chapter behind her and grown into a cat who loves, and even demands, affection. She’s learned to trust with time, lots of patience, and an endless supply of treats—which she’ll always request with a bold meow at treat time. When you pet her, expect the purr engine to fire up and, if you stop too soon, a gentle reminder tap from Sylvia to keep the love coming. Sylvia is queen of cozy beds, a buddy to other cats, and takes her role as an official treat inspector very seriously. Catnip toys are always welcome, and she’s happiest when she can share space with other felines. She does need a patient adopter who respects her pace and understands she will likely hide and need extra encouragement as she settles into her new home. She’s fully litter trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and medically up to date—including a recent dental. Sylvia will thrive as an indoor-only cat. Like with all cats, declawing is not allowed under any circumstances. If you are ready for a loving, unique cat who gives her heart slowly but fully, Sylvia is waiting to meet you in Faribault, MN.
