About Skippy
Skippy spent 14 years with one family and is now looking for his next chapter in Maple Glen, PA. Despite his age, Skippy is healthy except for a few moles and fatty lumps, and his vaccines are current after a recent vet visit. He thrives with consistent, gentle handling and bonds deeply once trust forms. His coat needs regular grooming every six weeks to stay short and neat, but it can grow beautifully fluffy with dedicated brushing. Skippy was housebroken but is adjusting in his foster home, sometimes needing supervision to avoid accidents; a belly band helps, and he takes well to positive reinforcement. This small Cocker Spaniel is sweet, gentle, and happiest cuddling on the couch—though he’ll also toss toys for himself and play for short spurts. Skippy loves outings, is good in the car, and is polite on leash. He lights up around other small dogs, cats, and has even mingled peacefully with kids and groups during 'pet and stretch' visits. He barks now and then but is mostly quiet and content to be near his people. With retirees or those working from home, he’d be a constant, loyal shadow. Skippy is ready for a soft landing and a family to share his golden years. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
