Triton is a 10-year-old male and a small mixed breed dog. He hasn't been spayed yet, and his vaccinations are not up to date. Currently located in Las Cruces, NM, Triton is looking for a caring home where he can be loved and cherished. He has a special need as he doesn't walk well, and while he's not house trained yet, he has a sweet and calm demeanor that makes him a wonderful companion.

About Triton

Meet Triton, a gentle soul who found himself as a stray before being rescued. His unique walk stems from a birth defect that has curved both femurs, causing his knees to turn outward. While he gets around well, he does have arthritis in his knees, requiring daily anti-inflammatories. Triton may need a wheelchair in the future, but for now, he's mobile and thrives on belly rubs more than long walks. He enjoys playing, especially with chew bones, although stuffed toys are off the menu as he likes to eat them. Triton is a mellow dog with bursts of excitement, and mealtime is his highlight of the day. If you think you can provide a loving home for Triton, don’t hesitate to reach out.
