Clove comes off timid at first, but he quickly warms up and shows off an impressive purr whenever he feels safe. Snuggle time is his moment—he softens and lets himself relax completely, losing himself in the comfort of being close. Clove stays busy and entertained with squeaky toys, jingle balls, and feather teasers and would enjoy having a friendly cat companion to roughhouse and romp with. During mealtime, Clove prefers to eat his wet food with a human in sight, convinced he needs a protector on hand just in case hidden threats lurk nearby. Loud snapping noises put him on edge, so save the knuckle cracking for another room. He does well around other cats and is settling into indoor living with growing comfort.
