"She loves treats, hugs, and play." *********************************************** This pretty little package is overflowing with all things you might hope for in a pup. BABY is about 4 years old, and about 60 to 70 lbs. She loves hard, lives hard, rests hard (and admittingly eats a bit harder than she should)! In other words, her energy is a 10 out of 10, she loves her people, she's great with other pups, loves being a couch potato, and could stand to lose some extra pounds. Miss Baby loves to play! She spends the bulk of her time inside, and wishes she had more outdoor activity. She is currently housed with 7 other pups (small, medium and large), and human hands are limited (which means limited opportunity for her to enjoy outdoor adventures especially since there isn't a fence where she lives). Truth be told, this is primarily why she is so "plump," and that's ok, because with regular activity, she could easily transform into a more lean, trim and athletic form (which is what we wish for her). Baby for the most part is both house and crate-trained. When she needs to potty, she will literally tell you (she barks), and if you take too long, she knows how to use a pee pad. When left home alone, she hangs out in the living room, and at night, she sleeps in her bed. She doesn't really use the crate anymore. No storm or separation anxiety, She walks just fine on a leash and also rides well in the car. Her prey drive is unknown, her food drive is an obvious 10, and she's fairly quiet unless she detects something out of the ordinary. This girl has a gentle demeanor, along with a good zest for life. As mentioned earlier, she is friendly, affectionate and loyal. She knows the command SIT, and complies 100%, when it's time for dinner (and maybe 50/50 at other times). She is generally a good girl, and basic training would make her better, She does jump sometimes, and this is ok for some, and maybe not for those with stricter standards. Baby must also be leashed outside the home or at least contained in a fenced yard, as she does like to chase cars. This sweet angel is very much adored. She was originally rescued, and while her finders did not intend to keep her, they couldn't help but fall in love with her. Unfortunately however, times have become more challenging healthwise, and managing that along with all the pups is not really sustainable. Our wish is to find a loving home for this girl, with the companionship that this breed loves, along with the enrichment & daily activity she deserves.
