About Steve

Steve was found abandoned in a laundry basket outside a shelter, surrounded by trash. When shelter employees arrived, they discovered the frail little guy, severely underweight and in rough condition. Even when faced with the possibility of humane euthanasia, Steve showed his will to live by lifting his head in response to the voices around him. Currently, he is about 4-6 pounds underweight and has been seen by a vet for his medical needs, which include long, curled toenails that were digging into his paws. While he has a long recovery ahead, each day brings him closer to health. Now in the care of From The Heart Animal Rescue, he’s ready to find a loving home.
