Makita and her foster had a bit of a complicated relationship. But that is mostly because humans sometimes have to do the not fun things, like trips to be fixed and environment changes for more space. But after having kittens we can understand her being hormonal. She hasn't totally forgiven that “human”betrayal yet, but underneath it all is a sweet girl who once trusted deeply and loved quietly. Before all the drama, Makita was the calm center of her little chaos kitten's crew. No, like literally the calm center, she was happily loafing in the middle of the pen while the boys tore around like little tornadoes. She is a patient momma, that is for sure! She's gentle, observant, and deserves someone patient enough to show her that people can be safe again. With a bit of time and understanding, that sweet side will shine right back through. Just give her a minute to adjust to a change of scenery again, because like any good diva, she does not always love change!
