About William Gatlin
William Gatlin is a small, long-haired Chihuahua mix who’s about twelve years old and weighs 9 lbs. Since entering foster care, he’s adapted to a slower pace and enjoys gentle affection—little walks suit him just fine, especially because he has some arthritis and a limp. William has a few medical needs: a heart murmur, chronic cough, hypertension, and some urine leakage, and he takes three daily medications. Despite all this, he still lights up when given attention. William does well with other dogs but wouldn’t mind being the only pet. He can be quirky and a bit unpredictable, so he needs an adopter willing to accept him on his terms in a low-energy home. He isn’t always cooperative but has a unique charm for a patient, special adopter. He gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making him a good fit for various families who understand his needs. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
