About Trixie
Trixie has waited longer than most for her forever home. She’s a tough, resilient girl who survived abandonment, gave birth alone on the streets, and still managed to keep a spark of hope. Since being rescued in 2022, she’s shown her true nature: playful, tenacious, and full of heart. Trixie thrives when she has a dog companion around her own size who can match her energy for play and exercise—she does best with another pup as a buddy. Trixie is a Staffordshire bull terrier, about five years old, with a short golden and white coat. She’s spayed and fully vaccinated. Like most Staffies, she’s good-natured and sociable, with a soft spot for kids. She needs some help finishing up her house training, but she’s eager for affection and will do best with a family who has the time and warmth to let her know she truly belongs.
