About Sonia
Sonia is about five years old and came from a tough start in a trailer park in Hixson, rescued with her newborn kittens. She raised her litter through some rough weeks—she was malnourished, but never let her guard down as a mom. Thanks to plenty of attention and good food, Sonia and her kittens beat the odds, though most of her kittens have now found homes. Now Sonia is the one waiting for a fresh start. She’s still a bit reserved and shy, but she is gradually opening up to gentle people. Sonia enjoys soft pets and gives little head butts but has never shown signs of being a lap cat. She’ll do best in a mellow, adult-only home where she can keep her world small and low-stress. Sonia lives peacefully with other cats but does not get along with dogs. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
