About Yuki
Yuki is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing 86 pounds, currently enjoying life in Huntsville, AL. Raised mainly indoors, Yuki didn't have a lot of canine playmates early on, so he's learned to manage some anxiety when left on his own. In his foster home, having a roomy yard and other dogs to hang out with has made a big difference—he thrives on outdoor play and company. Yuki gets along with dogs of all sizes and, despite being far bigger than some of his friends, he has grown to be remarkably gentle, especially with smaller dogs. His foster family has noted how quickly he's adapted and how much he benefits from regular socialization and time outside. He really needs a dog companion close to his own size to help him feel secure. Yuki manages a seizure condition and takes daily levetiracetam, but this hasn't dampened his spirits or affection. He's house trained, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and is a happy, playful dog who's still showing new sides to his personality as his foster learns more about him. Yuki is available for adoption out of state, though transport fees will apply. As a fun fact, being born on September 21 makes Yuki a Virgo—he's true to his sign with his sensitive and adaptable nature. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
