Hayzel was very stressed when she first arrived and had overgroomed her backside nearly bare. Now her fur has grown back in nicely. She prefers solitude, therefore she may be best fit for a working cat or a very patient owner. A concerned mail worker contacted FOCA when they found a Monroe County residence with an overwhelming number of cats. Our volunteers surveyed the area and then reached out to the property owner so we could give the cats a better life. There are 33 cats we rescued from a single location downtown with some kitties who are very friendly and others semi feral and feral.
