AvailableThis medium-sized, adult male Domestic Short Hair has a striking orange and white tabby coat with short fur and beautiful golden eyes. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. Currently, he is available through Friends of Petraits.
About Tommy
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Tommy is a beautiful and somewhat reserved four-year-old, golden-eyed orange and white tabby who is searching for a dedicated and understanding home. Previously living as an indoor/outdoor cat at a local business, Tommy's situation changed when he could no longer stay at the location. Now under the care of a rescue, he’s seeking a new beginning. In a home setting, Tommy behaves well and is fully litter box trained. While he tends to be shy, especially at first, he slowly builds trust, especially when food is involved, and has become more comfortable with gentle petting and being picked up. Tommy loves to chat and engage, showing his personality once he feels secure. He isn’t a lap cat just yet, but with patience, his affectionate qualities may shine through. Tommy is healthy and has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and positive for FeLV, which means he should either be the only cat or live with another FeLV-positive feline, though he is comfortable around dogs. The presence of an ear tip is a testament to his TNR history. A calm and understanding indoor environment, such as a home or a warehouse setting, would be ideal for Tommy, where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. If you’re ready to provide a caring and safe forever home, Tommy could be your perfect companion. Born December 3rd, he’s a Sagittarius—true to his sign, he loves exploring and has an independent spirit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
