About Moxie
Meet Moxie! Moxie is a beautiful black domestic short hair kitten with a curious streak and plenty of kitten energy to spare. She can be timid around people, but she lights up during playtime and is happiest chasing wand toys or swatting at jingly balls. Moxie’s favorite way to make friends is through games and treats; although she’s still unsure about being touched, she’ll take lickable treats from those she’s learning to trust. Moxie thrives around other cats—she’d love to have feline friends and would be even happier if her best friend, Pippa, could join her. She also does well with dogs that are used to cats but needs a household that understands her need for slow introductions and patience. Because she’s sensitive to loud noises and fast movements, she isn’t a match for homes with children. She needs an adopter who will give her the patience and quiet environment she needs to settle in at her own pace. Moxie may never be a cuddly lap cat, but she will become a gentle, playful companion for someone willing to let her come out of her shell on her own terms. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Moxie is currently in Huntsville, AL, ready for her next chapter in a loving, understanding home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
