About Chapo
Chapo is a cheerful little guy who brings a lot of joy wherever he goes. Around 5 to 7 years old and about 11 pounds, this short-coated Chihuahua starts off a bit reserved, but once he warms up, his friendly nature comes through. He loves being around other dogs, comfortably hangs with cats, and gets along just fine with kids who visit his foster home. Play comes second nature to him, and he’s happy to romp around with his canine pals. Walking on a leash is something Chapo handles well, though he’ll need some more practice to make strolls truly enjoyable. He’s crate trained, reliably uses potty pads, and also goes outside to do his business. Chapo was recently treated for heartworms and had multiple teeth removed during his dental, but he’s bounced back and stays upbeat. Chapo is looking for someone to give him a permanent spot to call home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
