While she may need a moment to warm up to new people, particularly men in hats, once she trusts you, she'll be your loyal companion. Chu Chu has blossomed from being scared at the shelter to exuberantly energetic in her foster home. She is incredibly friendly with other dogs and cats—in fact, she might just prefer feline friends. It's not uncommon to catch her snuggled up with the family cat, sharing snacks and cozy spaces. Her foster mom says Chu Chu has been a true joy and a source of healing.
