About Diego
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Diego is a 2.5-year-old, approximately 15-pound neutered chihuahua mix, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Sporting a short golden, brindle, and bicolor coat, he’s crate trained and, with a bit more patience and practice, will soon master potty and leash training. Diego enjoys being affectionate and playful, though he’s a little shy when facing new and unexpected changes. He gets along well with most dogs, adults, and children, which makes him a wonderful candidate for many homes. Thanks to his adaptable nature, Diego will quickly settle into your family’s routine and become a loyal member of the gang. Rescued from the streets of Tecate, where he experienced neglect and signs of having fought for food, Diego has blossomed under the care of his foster home as of February 2024. He’s eager for a family to provide the loving affection and attention he’s always wanted. If you’re looking to welcome a sweet, affectionate companion who’s ready to be cherished, Diego could be the perfect fit for your home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
