Fernando is a large, striking German Shepherd mix who impresses with both his size and personality. Weighing around 97 lbs, he’s a gentle giant who thinks he's a lap dog—there’s nothing he likes more than flopping across your legs with a big grin. He’s house proud and always keeps his space clean; it’s impressive how he waits for his outdoor time, never making a mess in his kennel. Fernando loves a good game of fetch and soaks up affection like a sponge. While he gets along with people, Fernando is selective with other dogs, especially dominant males. He’d do best as either the only dog or with a female canine companion. Due to his playful energy and size—plus the fact that he’s very much still in his puppy phase—Fernando isn't suitable for small kids, but would fit great in a home with high school-aged children or older.
