About Elmer
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet amazing Elmer—a Black Mouth Cur and American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a golden and white/cream coat! This very cool, playful guy is dog-friendly with those his own size and absolutely loves being around adults and older children (because he can get excited and may accidentally knock over small kids). Elmer is highly intelligent and enjoys learning new tricks; he already knows how to sit, lie down, shake, and give high fives! He is crate and house trained, and always ready for his next adventure, be it hiking, swimming, or a good game of fetch. After playtime, he's a true cuddle bug who enjoys relaxing by your side. Elmer would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and roll in the grass. He rides well in the car and would make a wonderful travel companion. He has done well with dogs his own size but would do best in a home without small dogs or cats—he wants to be the only furry star of the show. Elmer is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Born November 21st, he’s a Scorpio, known for being fiercely loyal and loving. This sweet boy is ready to trade living in a boarding facility for a forever home where he’ll be cherished. Give Elmer the happy ending he deserves! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
