About Squeegee
SqueeGee is a sweet and silly tortoiseshell. She came to us from Preston as a new momma. Her babies have been adopted out, and she is awaiting the perfect home to call her own! She is a petite 1 1/2 year old gal, with a funny personality, and very particular taste! SqueeGee loves to play, but is a bit rough with other kitties. It takes her a while to warm up to other cats, and especially dogs (she tolerates them, but doesn't like them still), but after a couple months in her foster home, she has made herself quite comfortable, and let everyone know her place, as well as theirs! Her favorite places to hang out are on the back of the couch, on the bean bag, or in boxes. She loves to run through kitty tunnels that make crunchy sounds. She only likes chicken flavored food and treats so far - she turns her nose up to all of the fishy-flavors. SqueeGee doesn't love to be held for very long, but will tolerate it and give some purrs for a little bit. Same goes for getting pets and love! She lets you know she is done! I think she would be best in a home with older kids that will give her her space, and know when to leave her alone when she needs it. Before she was found by the kind family that brought her to us, she had some trauma to one of her eyes. The vet said that to fix it, it would take some laser surgery, which would be an option for a potential adopted. She gets along just fine as is, and is a happy girl! Her eye does water sometimes due to the trauma, sometimes a little bit, some days a bit more. Other days, not at all. SqueeGee may try to get outside, as she was found as an outdoor kitty, so she will need a family that can take good care of her, and keep her safe from possible outdoor threats. She would LOVE to have a catio, if that is an option. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please text Alison at 435-890-9429, call Lisa at 435-770-5245 or send an email to fourpawsrescueutah@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $200, which includes the spay/neuter surgery, microchip and vaccinations. Please be patient with us getting back to you as we are all volunteers with full-time jobs and/or families! Thank you for your interest in this wonderful cat!
